Training
Marco Yamin was born in the city of São Paulo and lives in Ilhabela. In 1983 he began his career as a photographer in Portugal, where he studied free courses, attended agencies and photography studios in Lisbon. With more than 30 years of career, recognized in Brazil as one of the greatest photographers in landscapes, nature and nautical sports, he established a studio in Ilhabela, standing out as the official photographer of the International Sailing Week. For more than 16 years he was the main photographer for Revista Iate, the official publication of the Iate Clube de Santos. His lenses recorded the evolution of the Club, eternalizing historic moments. His images illustrated the covers and articles of major communication vehicles, such as the magazines Veja and Viagem (Ed. Abril) and the newspapers Folha de S.Paulo and O Estado de São Paulo. It also recorded events from multinational companies such as Mitsubishi, Mercedes-Benz, Suzuki, Volkswagen, Kia Motors and the Italian shipyard in Brazil, Ferreti.
